WE’RE PROTECTING YOU FROM COVID-19

We hope you are staying well during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we want you to know that Somers Vision Clinic is practicing sound infection control measures to protect our patients.  We have always been diligent about these measures, but we’re now taking additional steps to prevent the spread of this virus.  In addition to frequent hand-washing and using hand sanitizer, which is what we have always done, we are routinely disinfecting all surfaces touched by patients — bathroom fixtures and light switches, door knobs, front desk counter, pens, chair arms, etc.  We are disinfecting frames that patients try on.  We have removed magazines from our waiting area, because they may be a vector for infections.  Being a small practice, we only have one doctor and one staff member servicing our patients, and since we never double book appointments, the waiting area is never crowded.  This practice management, along with our diligent infection control measures, makes the risk of contracting Covid-19 or any other infection from our office extremely low.
